      MyALN is an online administrative system used by authorised members of the Additional Learning Support team to manage appointments and invoicing.

    • Business intelligence (DataWarehouse and QlikView)

      DataWarehouse is Bournemouth University’s system for modelling and storing data from a variety of internal operational systems, spreadsheets and external sources for use in fulfilling Business Intelligence requests from all business areas.

    • Computer assisted assessment (Questionmark OnDemand)

      You can use Questionmark OnDemand to create, deliver and analyse quizzes, test, exams and surveys.

    • Course Search

      Course Search is a public facing website which enables prospective students to search for a course.

    • Gartner e-reources

      BU students and staff can now access Gartner's Core IT Research Reference. This is an online service providing valuable IT related research, analysis and opinion, which can be used to inform and enhance planning, decision making, and measurement purposes.

    • globalBU

      globalBU stores information relating to current and developing academic partnerships between BU and institutions in the UK and overseas.

    • Graduate employment system (myCareerHub)

      myCareerHub is an online resource which allows BU students and graduates to search for jobs, placements and volunteering opportunities.

    • iBU mobile app

      iBU is the official mobile application for Bournemouth University.

    • IT Support for Events

      IT Services can provide support for special events on campus.

    • Laptop Loan Service

      The Laptop Loan service provides 12 MacBook Air laptops to students via self-service lockers on a short term basis. It is currently in a phase.

    • Online applications

      The Online applications website is a public facing webpage which enables prospective students to apply online for some courses.

    • Online Registration (OLR)

      The online registration service allows all successful students, existing and new to enrol and pay their fees at Bournemouth University.

    • Online time recording (TRAC)

      We support an online tool for recording time spent by academic staff on core activities called Transparent Approach to Costing (TRAC).

    • Online Timetable

      The online timetable provides access to an individual's academic calendar.

    • Ordering a prospectus

      IT Services support a public facing website where prospective students can order a prospectus.

    • Register for Open Days, events and exhibitions

      IT Services support a public facing webpage where prospective students can register online for Open Days, events and exhibitions.

    • Service Management Suite (SNOW)

      IT Services use ServiceNow’s Service Management suite (SNOW) to manage our IT operations.

    • SportBU Website

      IT Services support an online membership and booking system for sportBU.

    • Student parking permit applications

      IT Services support a public facing website which allows students to apply for a parking permit for the Talbot Campus.

    • Student record system (SITS)

      SITS (Strategic Information Technology Services) will manage student administrative processes from enquiries through to graduation and alumni.

    • Virtual Learning Environment Data Management System (VLEDMS)

      The DMS system ensures that data taken from UNITe (Student Records) is recorded as it transfers into myBU.
